Remember those who paved the way for your rights and freedoms.
And we must also remember those in our community who are still being oppressed and stripped of their freedom around the world as we march, sing and dance with our fellow LGBTQ community during Pride.

Derby At this time of year I for one raise the rainbow flag because I have faced discrimination and been bullied and beaten for being gay. I raise the rainbow flag because I am happily in a same-sex relationship. I raise the rainbow flag because I am proud to be queer.
We have come along way since that first brick was thrown and yet we still have a long way to go!
